Women's Water Polo League
Our women's first team has qualified for the top half of the draw in the
first division, with Frankie Snell currently heading the league
goalscorers' table, a full 9 goals ahead of the next nearest player.
They have had some narrow defeats against the top 3 sides, and will be
aiming to get their first win against them during the second half of the
season.
The women's second team have been finding it harder going in the second
division, where they are playing for the first time, but with the team
back at full strength, are aiming to finish the season strongly.

London League Finals
Huge congratulations to the Under
16 squad that dominated the London League finals tournament (top 4
teams) on Sunday 2 March 2008, winning every game against strong
opposition. This was a fantastic effort with strong teamwork and hard
work enabling us to defeat the three teams that had already beaten us in
the first two tournaments of this competition.
The
results were:
Sutton and Cheam 2 - Penguin 4
Croydon 9 - Penguin 14
Worthing 1 - Penguin 3
This great finals weekend lifted us from 4th to 2nd place in the London
League.
