Our Men’s first team faced a tough game against the new champions Bristol in the final weekend of the British League. We battled hard but lost the match 10-15.
In our second game we were only 8-7 ahead against Cheltenham towards the end of the third period but then five goals without reply – from Attila Banhidy (3), Tim Grace and Pat Harmer – set up our 14-10 win.
In a remarkable turn around from this time last year when we were facing relegation to the second division, our men have finished in the top five this year. Well done Penguin!
