We made a good start in the first games of the London League Premier Division at Whitgift this weekend.
Our first match against Sutton and Cheam was neck and neck for the first two quarters (2-2 and 4-4). But in the third we started to push ahead (9-7) and were more attacking in the final quarter to win with a clear margin, 14-9.
Next up was Beckenham and this match also started as a balanced affair with Penguin having the slight advantage at the end of the first quarter (4-3). But we dominated for the rest of the match, increasing our lead through the rest of the game to a decisive win (8-4, 13-8, 17-9).
