Two Penguin goalkeepers – Charlie Mock and Bryan Randall – recently met for the first time in Malta.
Bryan and his wife Sheila travelled with other Penguin ‘oldies’ on their annual visit to Malta. During the trip Bryan met Charlie, a Malta resident and local water polo legend, who played as a goalkeeper for Penguin during a water polo tour on the island some years back.
In the intervening years Charlie has become a great friend to our Club and always has a warm welcome for any Penguins visiting the island. He is also an honorary member of the Club and was a guest of honour at this year’s dinner and dance.
Bryan played for Penguin for many years but emigrated to Australia in 1967, although he remains in touch with many of his former team-mates.
