Fun Tournament
The Hillingdon End of Term Fun Tournament never fails to deliver. This time the five teams and their joint captains were:
- White: Alex and Michael
- Green: David and Daniel
- Purple: Amber and Molly
- Blue: Anderson and Charlie
- Red: Samir and Aryan
Each pair picked and organised their team. Meanwhile, Anton scored and kept a sharp eye on proceedings, ensuring substitutions were made regularly so everyone got a share of the action. And overseeing the matches, Shaun, Ilyas and Dan Usher were our referees. Thank you all for your help.
White were the winning team, comprising Ramsey, Alex M, Michael, Abelardo, Alvaro, Lucas, Sargis, Alex R, James and Oliver D.

Party
After the tournament, all the players and family enjoyed a mammoth spread of dishes contributed by each family. Special mention goes to Khairul’s noodles and to Mel for cooling a large volume of drinks. Many thanks to Emma and her helpers for setting up and clearing away.
Awards for Jan-July 2019
The speeches opened with a big thank you to the coaches: Shaun, Mickey and Adam who have worked hard all year to develop players and maximise opportunities for playing in competitions.
The Club has introduced three new cups, one for each training group. Even so, coach Shaun explained the difficulty of making individual awards because so many players have improved and performed outstandingly, both in the London League and London Youth Games.

This is also an opportune moment to thank Sarah and Dave from the Penguin Committee; I hugely appreciate your experience and hard work.
